Product Manager

Basic Job Functions:

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities, determining customer requirements, building business cases, and driving cross-functional collaboration in the development, launch, management, and retirement of products to maximize portfolio profitability. They facilitate the success of their product offering throughout its lifecycle and serve as a subject matter expert in the support of other departments and activities.

• Support the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with our company objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify product opportunities and drive innovation.
• Develop robust business cases to support new capital investment and expense requirements.
• Help define product requirements based on market needs and collaborate with the product development team on feasibility and cost trade-offs.
• Support product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, championing the project and providing guidance to cross-functional teammates
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling product documentation.
• Support sales teams by providing technical expertise, training, and product knowledge to drive successful product adoption and revenue growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the commercial construction industry.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships, identify partnership opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager for manufactured products
• Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
• Experience in developing financial business cases to justify project investment
• Proven understanding of various market research methods and their use-cases
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical terms to product features and customer value proposition.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the commercial construction industry
