Product Management Intern

Basic Job Functions:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Management intern for our Product Innovation team to support new and continued product development of commercial construction products. You will have duties across various business activities to help drive the development, launch, and management of products to maximize portfolio profitability.

As a Product Management intern, you will collaborate with teammates within, but not limited to, product development, research and testing, training, project management, and marketing disciplines. Your insightful contribution will help develop and expand our product portfolio growth.

This internship will help you acquire various cross-functional skills and provide you with broad experience in product lifecycle management. Ultimately, you will be better prepared to support a product portfolio in an environment that promotes innovation.

Responsibilities

• Support product-focused market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback collection
• Gather and organize internal and external supporting information for business cases
• Assist Product Managers and marketing teams with product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning
• Support the product development process through various stages with necessary information, administrative tasks, and process implementation
• Work with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to develop product documentation
• Research and summarize relevant trends, technologies, and regulations within the commercial construction industry

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong desire to learn about product management, supported by initiative, curiosity, and professional drive
• Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teammates
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret quantitative and qualitative information
• Current enrollment in a related bachelor’s or master’s degree program (marketing, business, finance, engineering, construction management, or a related field)
