Finance Lead

Basic Job Functions:

The Finance Lead will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis activities, overseeing the preparation of forecasts and reports, and collaborating with various teams to support strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting in the preparation of monthly forecasts, generating weekly and monthly management reports, developing advanced product costing tools, partnering with division leaders for annual budget creation, and acting as a key analytical support point for other departments. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or direct related work experience
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP system
• Experience with Power BI
