Basic Job Functions:

Review incoming orders for accuracy and completeness from a technical perspective to ensure they are ready for design and detailing to work on. This will include working with Customers,
Sales, Project Coordinators, Engineering and Detailing.
Set up downstream, internal customers to efficiently execute the scope of the project
Provide sketches, details, etc. to convey recommended solutions to customers and internal team
Attend project meetings, conference calls, and review meetings
Verify quoted material is utilized for the correct application(s)
Develop specific notes and details in regards to projects for the detailers to use in their drawings
Assists with setting up expectations to upstream and downstream customers.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or General Equivalency Diploma
Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD Software
Experience reading and understanding Architectural and Structural drawing sets and data

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Design or Detailing Structural Buildings
Background in Insulated Metal Panels and/or rainscreen systems
