Engineering Intern

Basic Job Functions:

As an Engineer Intern, you will be learning the responsibilities of a full-time engineer, as well as assisting
the Engineering Department in various projects. This could include:

• Hands-on Learning: Acquire invaluable experience supporting the role of a full-time design engineer
  while actively contributing to a variety of production-related projects within our Engineering Department.
  Cladding Analysis: Learn to analyze cladding for wind, snow, and live loads.
• Software Proficiency: Engage in comprehensive training sessions to proficiently operate our state-ofthe-art proprietary engineering software, equipping you with the tools to effectively execute design tasks
  with precision and efficiency.
• Design Contribution: Play a pivotal role in the engineering process, collaborating with seasoned
  professionals to develop structurally sound and economically viable components that uphold our
  commitment to safety and excellence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience the synergy of interdepartmental collaboration firsthand
  as you work closely with diverse teams to fabricate high-quality products tailored to meet the needs of
  our valued customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School or General Equivalency Diploma
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited
  school.
• Effective with the English language using both verbal and written skills Proficient in verbal and written
  communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training or experience with statics, structural analysis, steel design
• Degree emphasis in Structures
• Leadership experience within clubs or organizations
