Basic Job Functions:
1. Individual will be responsible for generating the appropriate reports for the Engineering Department and assist with monitoring deliverable schedule to both internal and external customers.
2. Individual will perform necessary computer input and report generation required for processing fabrication documents to be released to production.
3. Individual will effectively use equipment and programs to assist in dispersing and controlling documents and packages
4. Individual will show initiative with regard to suggestions and implementation of procedures that will increase efficiency and productivity within their function.
5. Individual will perform other responsibilities assigned by the Detailing Supervisor or Engineering Manager on an as needed basis.
6. Individual must have a customer service approach to all internal and external customers.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School or General Equivalency Diploma.
2. Prior experience working directly with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
3. The capability to type and use a keyboard is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience with Nucor software and Microsoft SharePoint.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
3. Previous experience with document control, transcribing information, and coordinating the distribution of construction documents and drawings
