Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

 

The Office Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for office operations, overseeing administrative workflows and acting as a resource for the team. This includes full responsibility for all scale duties to ensure accurate and efficient processing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two years’ experience with general office duties (i.e., phones, customer service, ordering supplies)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service and handling multiple projects
  • Ability to provide professional verbal and written communication
  • Possess organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability, consistency and willing to work outside in all weather conditions
  • 5 day work week- Mon-Fri 6:00am-4:00pm 
  • Willing to provide coverage to other facilities as needed

Preferences:

  • High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • Computer literate in Outlook, Excel, and Word with a willingness to learn in house systems
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
