Rytec Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager for defining and executing the company’s product vision through analysis of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. This role leads the development and management of new and existing products from concept through launch and lifecycle support. The Product Manager provides technical and strategic leadership for product initiatives while collaborating with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, manufacturability, and customer requirements.  The Product Manager also supports Rytec sales and marketing teammates, dealer partners, and contractors by providing product expertise, application guidance, regulatory compliance information, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Develop, maintain, and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with growth.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of product development initiatives from concept through commercialization.
• Manage and develop engineers, project managers, and drafting professionals through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and resource planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure engineering designs meet established technical, performance, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product lines and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, customer feedback, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation.
• Gather and incorporate input from customers, dealer partners, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support product development and enhancements.
• Monitor financial performance of product initiatives, including return on investment, pricing strategies, and business case development.
• Provide technical support and product guidance to sales, marketing, customer service, dealer partners, and contractors.
• Support strategic planning initiatives related to market expansion, new product introductions, and competitive positioning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 10 years’ experience in Product Development, Engineering, Product Management
• 5 years leadership or management experience leading technical and cross-functional teams
• Microsoft Office applications and other business systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP and product lifecycle management systems
• MBA or master’s degree
