Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities of the Ladle Crane Operator include but are not limited to safely performing all tasks associated with operating and maintaining the Ladle Crane and supporting the Melt Shop operation by transporting liquid steel and assisting with any other needed operational support.The Ladle Crane Operator must complete the crane certification. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current or previous experience working in a Melt Shop
- Heavy equipment experience in steelmaking applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hot metal crane experience
