About the Role:
Nucor Steel Berkeley is seeking an Entry‑Level Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who want hands‑on experience, real responsibility, and long‑term growth opportunities in a manufacturing environment.
This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Supporting cash management, inventory accounting, and fixed asset management
- Assisting with forecasting, cost analysis, and expense reviews
- Supporting special projects and process improvements
- Working collaboratively with finance, operations, and other departments

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Relevant coursework or academic projects will be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship, co‑op, or early‑career accounting or finance experience
- Interest in pursuing CMA certification or a related graduate degree
- Manufacturing or cost accounting exposure
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities within Nucor
