Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor includes but is not limited to being responsible for the following:  promoting a safe working environment and a one-division team, leading a team of electrical maintenance technicians, developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and quality systems, maintaining and troubleshooting all types of electrical equipment to include various automation and level 2 platforms, training and developing a maintenance team, and providing excellent customer service for the assigned area. Able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends and holidays.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four year B.S. or B.A. degree in Electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Completed Nucor Audit Training.
