Process Helper

Basic Job Functions:

• Read and understand a blueprint.
• Read measuring tape.
• Use the saw machine.
• Use the Punching press machine.
• Housekeeping; clean machine before and after doing cuts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimal experience working in a manufacturing environment or processing/fabrication area.
• Demonstrate tact and diplomacy with fellow employees and any other respective party whom employee will interact with.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experiences working within a manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of production, material control, and manufacturing processes
• Bilingual - English and Spanish speaking
