Basic Job Functions:
- Develop and support engineering projects including layouts, equipment specifications, timelines, RFQs, cost estimates, and vendor coordination.
- Review, compare, and negotiate contractor and vendor proposals.
- Create and update plant equipment, process flow, and facility layout drawings.
- Work with plant operations teams to troubleshoot issues, interpret drawings, and support root cause analysis.
- Analyze production data to define opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Support integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automation systems (PLC, HMI, robotics, controls).
- Participate in commissioning new equipment including validation, startup, documentation, and training.
- Promote and demonstrate strong safety culture in all activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Automation, or related Engineering field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and technology. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership, follow-through, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, robotics, SCADA, MES).
- Exposure to equipment installation, integration, or manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience coordinating with external suppliers, integrators, and contractors.
- Experience with process mapping or capacity analysis.
