Production Supervisor

Basic Job Functions:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for Taking Care of Our Customers by working as a division leader at Vulcraft Texas.  The Production Supervisor will be expected to lead an operational line in the production department and work with other departments. The Production Supervisor will also be expected to work collaboratively with other divisions to achieve the desired results in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability.  The Production Supervisor must personally demonstrate the values that make up the Nucor culture. Responsibilities also include working a flexible schedule (ex. more than 40 hours per week) which may include a rotating shift. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of leadership experience

AWS Welder Certified 2G 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of SAP 
• Experience working on the line in joist and/or deck operations 
• Must be willing to relocate for future advancement opportunities within Nucor
