Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Division CFO is to participate as a member of the Division’s Leadership Team and to execute on Nucor's mission to Grow the Core, Expand Beyond, and Live our Culture. The Division CFO is expected to actively lead, mentor, and develop a highly-functioning, cohesive team, as well as work to promote cross-departmental teamwork, alignment, and collaboration. This person will work with the management team to provide long term strategic planning as well as create focus on delivering near term results. This person will also work closely with the Vulcraft/Verco management teams to ensure alignment and execution with the VVG business strategy. The Division CFO will be responsible for managing all the division's accounting and financial reporting, human resources, and credit-related activities. This person will need to personally demonstrate the values that make up the Nucor Culture. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to take on further leadership responsibilities within Nucor, now, and in the future.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Two years of experience in a financial, accounting or related role
- Two years of experience in a senior leadership position
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or MBA
- Financial experience in the steel fabrication or steel manufacturing industry
