Basic Job Functions:
This position supports the company’s business and production operations by assuring precise and timely receiving, inventory counts and transactions, on-site deliveries, and records integrity. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: attending the stores and receiving desk, locating and issuing inventory, operating forklifts and trucks, housekeeping, and working with computerized systems to perform warehouse functions. This position will be required to work a rotating shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in use of computers and in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs

- Computers and Electronics: Knowledge of computers, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications. Will use computerized inventory systems.
Preferences:
- At least six months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
