Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Gallatin is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HR Administrator to assist all Human Resources functions for the Division. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with onboarding of new teammates.
- Maintaining teammate data in SAP/SuccessFactors/Employee Central/Employee Central Payroll, OnBase, NOVAtime, etc.
- Maintaining conformance to personnel policies, practices and legal requirements.
- Supporting other HR functions as needed (benefits, time and attendance, payroll, recruiting, training) with records management, projects, etc.
- Entering work requests and requisitions into IVARA system. Processing invoices and payment requests.
- Assisting with planning and coordinating company activities and events, reward/recognition efforts, charitable programs, and other teammate/public activities.
- Assisting in maintaining records and personnel files; corporate and government reporting and data management and reporting; and HRIS support.
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in use of computers and in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
- At least one year of human resources experience
- No relatives currently employed at Nucor Gallatin

- Teamwork: Demonstrated history of working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.
- Personnel and Human Resources: Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, employment law, and personnel information systems.
Preferences:
- Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- SAP/SuccessFactors or HRIS software experience
- Experience with timekeeping/payroll
