Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products-Gallatin is seeking candidates for the position of Division Administrator. The successful candidate will develop strong and trusting relationships with internal and external customers and will be the point of contact at the Gallatin business and production offices for all administrative tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answer and properly route phone calls for multiple locations; assist with purchasing activities, including travel management, while working with AP to timely process invoices; assist the HR department with organization and execution of teammate events, prepare communication pieces for multiple locations and basic HR functions to support the HR team; handle incoming and outgoing mail; properly administrate visitors access; manage location meetings and activities; and other duties as assigned.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a fast-paced business office
Experience managing multiple phone line switchboard with incoming calls for multiple locations within different states and time zones
Demonstrated experience in Excel and other MS Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in HR, A/P or Purchasing activities
