Loading Stacker

Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Alabama is seeking a member for our loading department. The responsibilities of the Loading Stacker position include, but are not limited to, being a positive part of the team as well as training teammates in the loading department, securing and pulling loaded trailers from the shop to staging areas. The Loading Stacker will be responsible for safely loading our material and preparing trailers for our drivers to execute on an excellent delivery. This position is also responsible for assisting and communicating information to other departments and teammates as it relates to loading. The candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include rotating shifts, working on holidays, or overtime on short notice. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in operating heavy equipment, forklift, and switch tractors
• High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

• VVG product knowledge and understanding of our processes.
• SAP ERP experience
• Proficiency in use of MS Office
