Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft Alabama is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This role will work closely with the project manager team, detailing, engineering, and production to assist our customers in resolving jobsite issues, providing technical knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service and support. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time to all covered territories, ensuring jobsite assistance and presence when necessary while continuously seeking ways to improve and revolutionize the industry. This role is also responsible for investigating, tracking, and addressing the root of quality and jobsite issues. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and detailing.
- Strong technical knowledge and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Previous experience with SAP, OE, MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Bilingual
- VVG product knowledge and understanding of our processes
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the joist and deck industry.
