Basic Job Functions:
Verco Decking Inc. is seeking a Deck Plant Lead. This position will report directly to the Deck Plant Supervisor. The Deck Plant Lead is responsible for leading the team by example, concerning safety, environmental issues, quality and productivity.
- Direct team to be efficient in producing quality products while working safely at all times.
- Implement training for teammates in all workstations and cross training.
- Run daily production and toolbox meetings regarding safety, scheduling and workstation assignments.
- Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching and development of production teammates.
- Oversee day-to-day production operations and resolve issues that may arise.
- Responsible for continuous communication with Deck Plant Supervisor regarding all aspects of safety, production, quality and issues that may arise.
- Attend meetings in the absence of the Deck Plant Supervisor.
