Stacker

Basic Job Functions:

In the stacker role, you will play a key part in supporting our loading operations and contributing to the overall success of the team. You will be responsible for operating a shag truck to assist with loading and moving trailers, working closely with the Loader to ensure trailers are properly loaded, and securing loads once the loading process is complete. Additional duties include spotting for teammates during loading to ensure safety, pulling loaded trailers, and handling various tasks to support the shipping team. Flexibility is important, as you may also be called upon to assist in other areas of the division as needed. The role requires the ability to work overtime, nights, and/or weekends—sometimes with little notice—and in all weather conditions.

 Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, shag truck, etc.
