Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products - Decatur is seeking to fill the position of Receiving Coordinator. This position is responsible for developing a method and process improvement plan for unloading and loading shipments, receiving paperwork, assisting A/P and Purchasing with invoices, appropriate costing for signed in and out warehouse materials, cost reduction initiatives, maintaining accurate inventory and housekeeping. The individual will be directly involved with the operation of D365, including establishing existing inventory levels, working with Maintenance/Operations/Administration to establish minimum/maximum inventory levels, tracking, and expediting repairs. The successful candidate will effectively assist in driving Nucor’s safety Culture and Policies in their workspace and set the example for those who enter that area, as well as develop and foster relationship with our internal teams and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience or exposure to the purchasing process.
- Forklift license or ability to become licensed to operate a forklift.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in quoting or negotiating pricing.
- Experience with D365 and a simple knowledge of excel.
- Actively engaged in Safety performance and improvement
