Basic Job Functions:

 

This individual will be responsible for building and enhancing systems that support our global product group, and division business requirements. The Raw Materials Business Analyst will work to drive project initiatives as it relates to systems application implementation and execution of business solutions. These activities include but are not limited to, business requirements analysis, data conversions, solutioning, troubleshooting, and system testing all while serving as liaison between our steel making divisions and the NBT Team.

 

This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Nucor Business Technology team based in Irving, TX.  Teammate preferred location is Dallas but may be based in Charlotte or Nucor division with the agreement of that division. Project related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in at least one of the following functional areas
    • Purchasing, Finance, Raw Materials, Melt Shop Production
  • Two years’ experience working in a steel manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with an ERP and/or MES systems
  • Proficient in the use of computer software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working directly with one or more of the following:
    • Oracle E-Business Suite
    • Quad Infotec - QMOS
    • PSI Metals - MES
  • Undergraduate Degree
