Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Towers & Structures (NTS) has an opening for the position of Environmental Coordinator for the Crawfordsville, IN facility.
The responsibilities of an EHS Coordinator include but are not limited to maintaining the Safety, Health Management Systems (SHMS); Interacting with all division teammates to ensure plant understanding of and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; Developing, organizing, and delivering safety training; Compiling, reviewing and reporting injury/illness statistics and OSHA 300 logs; Monitoring contractor safety programs/performance, workers’ compensation and industrial health program; Participating in Division and company safety activities, initiatives and audits; Reviewing, developing and authoring safety, equipment, and operating policies/procedures and managing plant security.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Four-year degree from an accredited university in environmental or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OHSAS 14001 & 18001 OHSMS Systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Active involvement in division safety culture and programs
