Inside Sales Associate

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Inside Sales Associate includes but is not limited to serving as the primary backup for any of the Inside Sales staff positions, responsible for customer accounts, and handling whatever aspect of sales is needed. Handle all calls and requests for information in a professional manner while working accurately and timely in a deadline-oriented environment. Coordinates with outside sales force, production, shipping, mill management and metallurgist to sell product and service customers. Coordinate mill scheduling of shipments with appropriate departments. Provide timely status updates to customers. Enter customer orders timely and accurately with attention to detail. Must be able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2 years customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2. Manufacturing experience
3. Flat Rolled Steel knowledge
