District Sales Manager

Basic Job Functions:

1. Lead Customer team for OEM and Tiered customer base for Nucor Engineered Bar Mill Group
2. Prospect and develop new OEM, Tiered Suppliers and Service Center business
3. Communicate Automotive commercial and supply chain requirements and activities across Nucor
4. Participate in and negotiate multi-faceted long term customer contracts
5. Knowledgeable of Nucor’s unique cost and market pricing structures and inputs
6. Lead and communicate customer feedback throughout Nucor and the supply chain
7. Coordinate supply chain relationships as it relates to OEM and Tiered customers
8. Ensure all commercial needs of the Automotive customer are being met

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.  4 year undergraduate degree
2. Appropriate travel and customer engagement
3. Reside in general Automotive / Heavy Truck region (MI, IN, IL, WI, OH, PA)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Sales & Marketing Experience 
2. Familiarity with Automotive and Heavy Truck Supply Chain and Applications
