Coatings Complex Day Millwright

Basic Job Functions:

The Day Millwright primary responsibility will be providing maintenance support to plant operations, understanding and maintaining hydraulic, cooling, lubrication and environmental control systems, overhead cranes, equipment alignments, and water treatment facilities. Must possess welding and fabrication skills. Must be able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. One year of industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
2. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
