Caster Shift Millwright

Basic Job Functions:

The Shift Millwright is responsible for providing maintenance support to plant operations, understanding and maintaining hydraulic, cooling, lubrication and environmental control systems, overhead cranes, equipment alignments, and water treatment facilities. Must also possess welding and fabrication skills. Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.  Two years of industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
2. Knowledge of Maintenance Management System
3. Ability to manage projects from conception to completion
4. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
