Business Development Manager- Korean Automotive

Basic Job Functions:

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

1. Work with Automotive Team Leadership and teammates to drive profitable growth strategy with Nucor Korean Automotive customers.
2. Assist Korean Automotive team in building relationships across the supply chain.
3. Support Korean Automotive Commercial Lead in strategy development across the supply chain. 
4. Support Korean Automotive Technical Lead with quality issues at Hyundai and Kia stamping facilities and Tier 1 and 2 stampers.
5. Develop, foster, and grow relationships with Korean commercial and technical representatives across the supply chain including Purchasing, Technical, Quality, etc.
6. Coordinate and facitilitate high level strategic meetings with key contacts throught the supply chain.
7. Support Nucor engineered bar group's business activities with Korean Engine and Transmission Tier Automotive Suppliers
8. Support commercial and technical representation of Korean Automotive business at Nucor mills

This position will require travel and can be remote but in proximity to Korean Automotive customers or will be located at Nucor Southfield, MI office.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Four year undergraduate degree
2. Five years Automotive and/or Steel related experience
3. Fluent in Korean language- spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Degree in engineering
