Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Counter Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for doing the following: assist with area housekeeping and safety efforts; receive, store, inventory and issue parts and consumables from stock for production and maintenance personnel; expedite the plant delivery service; work with computerized systems to perform warehouse functions. This position requires working rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and scheduled/unscheduled overtime. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge/skillset of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service
- Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience using MP2
- Experience operating forklifts
- Experience in steel manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
