Maintenance Lead

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Lead. The successful candidate will lead safety and housekeeping efforts as well as coordinating and organizing area electrical maintenance with operations and the mechanical maintenance team. The Maintenance Lead will also work closely with the area Electrical and Mechanical Supervisors to develop, motivate, set expectations for, and provide leadership to their team.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or relevant technical degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 or more years of heavy industrial maintenance experience
• 2 or 4 year engineering or technical degree
