Basic Job Functions:
The Internal Auditor position will be based in the Cincinnati DJJ corporate office. The functions of this role include but are not limited to:
- Performing the internal audit function for Nucor, which is heavily focused on evaluating and auditing Nucor’s internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Nucor policies
- Performing audits of areas such as inventories, revenue recognition, accounting procedures, capital expenditures, accruals, etc.
- The successful candidate should be open to relocation for future growth opportunities
- This position includes travel, up to 30% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Prior audit experience with a national public accounting firm
- No more than 2 years of experience in an internal audit role or relevant accounting experience
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
