Basic Job Functions:

  • Evaluates all accounts payable balances and solves payment discrepancies
  • Review A/R aging and resolve past due transactions
  • Oversee cash application process for accuracy and timeliness
  • Completes intercompany billing and reconciliations
  • Collaborates with various internal departments to ensure accuracy of customer billing
  • Assists with month end close as needed
  • Prepare journal entries for any items requiring posting to the general ledger
  • Provides assistance and support for all accounting functions within the company as necessary
  • Special projects as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a business environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and profitability
  • Proven communication skills both verbal and written, organization and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a business discipline or 4 years related work experience.  Accounting or finance preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers
  • Oracle and or D365 experience is a plus
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a variety of tasks, and perform work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to efficiently manage workloads and recognize priorities
  • Strong organizational skills
