Basic Job Functions:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for the overall development and leadership of the Quality Team including:

  • Promoting Nucor’s mission ensuring that safety is instilled as a value with a strong focus on quality stewardship. 
  • Work cross-functionally with commercial/operations/maintenance/administrative to address customer-specific requirements, and product needs
  • Participate in long-term strategic planning by collaborating with all departments to set goals that directly support the overall vision and strategy of the divisions. 
  • Advise the leadership team regarding Quality objectives, targets, and metrics.
  • Work to drive quality and safety improvement throughout the divisions as well as overseeing periodic reviews and revisions of our quality management system.
  • Lead the Division in all aspects of the Quality Management Systems including ongoing review, implementation, maintenance, and improvement.
  • This position will require travel to Marseilles and Gallatin.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years Tube production experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Auditor and Compliance Experience
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • ISO 14001 experience
