NTP-CS Mill Operator

Basic Job Functions:

The Welding Mill Operator performs setup and operation of tube mill. The incumbent is routinely exposed to mill conditions including but not limited to dust, grease, noise, heat and cold.

• Setup and operation of tube mill
• Monitor process and make adjustments accordingly
• Monitor and maintain mill speeds per rates
• Accurately use micrometers, tape measures, and test equipment
• Perform audits to ensure quality products
• Report daily production and down time in Mac Pac
• Assist in clearing of fold ups
• Operates high frequency welding equipment
• Setup and operation of eddy current equipment
• Keep work area clean
