Sales Service Manager

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Sales Service Manager is to participate as a member of the Division’s Leadership Team in Taking Care of Our Customers while leading the division’s Post-Point-of-Sale efforts. This includes active participation in leading the Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Profitability, and Commercial Excellence efforts of the Vulcraft/Verco Group. The Sales Service Manager will provide long term strategic planning, create focus on commercial performance while delivering near term results.

• Active participation and leadership in the division safety efforts.
• Lead, model, nurture, and advance the Nucor culture.
• As an engaged member of the division management team, lead, develop, and execute on the business strategies including quality, cost, productivity, profitability, and commercial excellence.
• Responsible for leadership and oversight of the operational functions within the Sales Service Department including staffing, throughput, scheduling, and cost management.
• Actively lead, mentor, and develop a high-functioning, cohesive division leadership team.
• Develop and implement strategies that create an Inclusive and Diverse workplace.
• Work closely with the Vulcraft – Verco Sales Service Manager Group to ensure alignment and execution with the VVG business strategy. 
  

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of leadership experience managing leaders and direct reports in the manufacturing or related industrial, or construction fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Commercially focused with work experience in Sales, Sales Service, Finance, Production or Shipping.
