Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft Utah a division of Nucor is seeking to fill the position of Quality Coordinator at our Brigham City Utah office.
Basic Job Functions
• Resolve Post-Delivery Issues: Proactively manage and address all post-delivery and field-related concerns in collaboration with field and project managers. Gather and document all necessary information to complete Customer Service Reports (CSRs) and engineering investigations.
• Support Field Operations: Provide expedited materials and detailed repair instructions to field teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet delivery timelines.
• Lead Back Charge Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations and lead negotiations with project managers and customers to mitigate potential back charges and protect company interests.
• Facilitate Monthly QSR Meetings: Organize and lead monthly Quality Service Review (QSR) meetings. Present feedback, identify trends, and collaborate with the division to implement product and quality improvements.
• Drive Cross-Functional Solutions: Partner with internal departments to resolve field issues and identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiency.
• Interpret Technical Documentation: Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, Bills of Materials (BoMs), engineering documents, and shop orders.
• Deliver Exceptional Communication: Uphold the highest standards of service through clear, professional, and responsive communication—both written and verbal—with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide Project Management Support: Serve as a reliable backup to Project Managers when needed, ensuring continuity and support across project phases.
• Commit to Extended Hours: Be available and willing to work beyond 40 hours per week in the office to meet project demands and deadlines.
• Travel as Required: Be prepared and equipped to travel to job sites when necessary to support field operations and customer needs.
• Embody Ownership and Initiative: Exhibit a strong sense of project ownership and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset in all aspects of the role

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher
• 2+ years in the construction industry.
• Be willing to and have the means to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in the steel joist industry.
• Previous experience in a sales or project manager role.
• Willingness and desire to relocate
