Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Utah is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor committed to taking care of our customers and leading the team into the future being safety-minded and goal oriented, while being cost and quality driven. The Purchasing Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices and establishing plans for continuous improvement within the department and division. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the Purchasing Department. This role will lead negotiations and maintain relationships with key vendors and be responsible for executing and maintaining Contractor and Purchasing Agreements. Other responsibilities for the Purchasing Supervisor include but are not limited to, developing and implementing purchasing strategies, determining and managing warehouse inventory needs in conjunction with receiving, and leading special projects where needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 + years work experience in manufacturing or procurement
  • Prior leadership experience

Preferences:

  • Four (4) year college degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or other related field
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP System
  • Strong understanding the procurement process
