Join CBC, a leading brand within Nucor Buildings Group, as an Associate Sales Manager and step into a high-impact leadership position focused on driving sales growth, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team. Based in Brigham City, Utah, this role is responsible for managing a team of District Sales Managers and reports directly to the General Manager.

As the Associate Sales Manager, you’ll lead strategic sales initiatives within your region, coach and develop your team, and work closely with cross-functional leadership to align performance goals with long-term business objectives. This position plays a vital role in growing builder relationships, executing recruitment and retention strategies, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Basic Job Functions:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive the development, execution, and ongoing improvement of regional sales strategies that support market growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of District Sales Managers. Oversee training, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
  • Market Expansion: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective builders. Develop recruiting and retention strategies to support sustainable growth and increased market presence.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other cross-functional leaders to align business objectives, optimize operations, and support long-term planning.
  • Safety & Culture: Promote and model Nucor’s safety culture. Support initiatives that foster operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a territory management sales role
  • Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring sales teams
  • Experience in Construction or related industry
  • Must be able & willing to travel up to 35% of the time
  • Must be willing to relocate for future advancement positions within Nucor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Construction, Engineering, or related field
  • Metal Building Experience
