Basic Job Functions:

The duties and responsibilities of the Receiving Coordinator include but are not limited to the following: Inspect and receive inbound material for use by the Nucor team; Compare packing lists and bills of lading against Nucor purchase orders to ensure accuracy; Coordinate with accounts payable team for reconciliation of invoice discrepancies; Facilitate delivery of material on-site to appropriate Nucor teammate or construction contractor(s); Control inventory using measures such as rolling cycle counts or zone counts; Put away items in appropriate manner for storage; Pick and pull parts from storage locations. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year experience in a distribution warehouse or manufacturing warehouse

• 1 year experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and/or Excel

• 2 year experience with an inventory management software program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Business Suite

• Overhead crane certification

• Forklift certification
