Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applications for the posting of Technical Services Coordinator. Principal duties include, but are not limited to:


1. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

2. Coordinate and lead order entry improvements and updates including spec revisions/reviews and order entry logic management between Tech Services and Commercial team.

3. Supporting qualification efforts of new and existing products with NSBB, Nucor Plate Group, other Nucor divisions, as well as 3rd party laboratories.

4. Coordinate and lead certification/MTR process and revisions (ABS, Naval Armor, CAT etc).

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 5 years of experience with specification maintenance

· Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on MS Excel

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record of problem solving and process improvements

• Plate and Coil Steel Experience
