Basic Job Functions:
The duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Administrator include maintaining an organized and well-functioning office environment, managing schedules, supplies, and equipment to support the team's day-to-day needs. This role requires identifying and proactively resolving issues before they disrupt operations or slow down the maintenance workflow. The Maintenance Administrator coordinates department meetings, appointments, and events, handling all associated logistics and catering arrangements, mill wide revolving around shift changes to ensure each teammate is at the required meeting. This could require coming in early or staying later to assist with delivery and setting up for each meeting ensuring everything runs on schedule. Accurate recordkeeping is essential, including the maintenance of both digital and physical documents. Financial and procurement responsibilities include entering purchase requisitions, tracking departmental expenses, and supporting payroll and invoicing processes. Beyond administrative duties, this role is a hands-on partner to maintenance teammates and leadership alike, serving as a reliable resource for the team and stepping in to support cross-functional activities as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• 2 Years Experience with Administrative Support
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Oracle ERP software
• Experience with Accounting & Purchasing
• Experience with Maintenance Processes
