Basic Job Functions:
The role of Claims Coordinator is primarily to:
- Facilitate the acceptance and processing of customer claims for both quality and account receivable.
- Coordinate efforts to resolve claims with customers, production team members, metallurgists, sales and accounts receivable.
- Track claims status and communicate with customer on open claims.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports, and complete month end closing processes.
- Individual will be trained and able to perform all roles within the Credit Department.
- Participate in quality audits as needed on behalf of Claims Issue Resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business or related field and/or
- 2 years related business experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the manufacturing process, product characteristics and customer base.
