Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Kankakee is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Counter. Warehouse Counter personnel responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working safely, receiving, shipping, stocking and inventory control of warehouse items, cycle counting, assisting delivery personnel, contractors and teammates in locating needed parts and supplies, operating mobile equipment, processing computer transactions, housekeeping, and a variety of other tasks related to the successful operation of the Warehouse.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• None
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of warehouse experience
• Prior experience in an MRO warehouse
• Knowledge and proficiency with Oracle EBS
• Prior experience driving forklifts
