Basic Job Functions:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the development of our warehouse and warehouse team in conjunction with the maintenance and purchasing teams. This includes, but is not limited to inventory parts setup, physical warehouse setup and initial inventory system implementation. Additionally, the successful candidate will be instrumental in promong safe work practices, championing Nucor culture within the warehouse team and across multiple departments, optimizing and controlling inventory and developing an organized, efficient warehouse to support equipment reliability and lower costs.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Warehouse or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Supervisory/Team Lead experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail, analyze information and initiate decision making.
