Basic Job Functions:
The position will be required to safely operate a forklift to load and unload freight from different types of trucks, as well as removing and placing various parts to and from the warehouse shelves. This position will be required to drive offsite to pick up mail and parts, as well as delivery of such throughout various areas of the mill. The Warehouse counter will also be responsible for the accuracy of their work and for security of the storeroom. This position will communicate both verbally & written with teammates, vendors, and suppliers in identifying, locating parts in the database and warehouse, and receive parts at the receiving dock. The position will work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Preferences:
Previous storeroom experience
Knowledge of and ability to use CMMS and Oracle systems
