NSAR Inside Sales Representative

Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Inside Sales Representative includes but is not limited to taking care of our customers by executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity and profitability objectives. Inside Sales Representatives work directly with our customers, managing inquiries, orders, releases, inventory and perform any other duties associated with exceeding our customer’s expectations, as well as collaborating with Outside Sales, Production, Quality, and Shipping teams to help generate sales and provide customer service that exceeds our customer expectations.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Previous sales related experience
2. Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office
3. Able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Flat Rolled Steel knowledge
2. Four-year Bachelor degree (Business, Marketing, or related study)
