Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Physical Inspector is to ensure safety for themselves and their teammates above all other considerations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring quality of material, effectively operating the Coating Line Quality Area, and other various tasks in the facility to help take care of our customers. This position requires work on rotating shifts.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coating operations experience
- Sheet processing experience
- Quality role experience
