Basic Job Functions:
The Refractory Tech is responsible for safe and efficient performance in the Refractory department at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspection, repair or replacement of ladle and tundish refractories
- Review and understanding procedures at the Ladlewall, Tundish Yard, and Bricking Stand
- Crane and mobile equipment operation
- Maintenance responsibilities of the refractory area

Minimum Qualifications:
- Melt Shop and/or Refractory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a team player
- Mobile equipment experience
